(niks pille) Prominent figures join the board of Danish Shipping
Two well-known maritime figures join the board of Danish Shipping, the trade association announces at its annual meeting in Copenhagen's Nordhavn.
The individuals are Tina Revsbech, CEO of Maersk Tankers, and Mads Peter Zacho, CEO of Navigator Gas. Both have extensive maritime resumes with several leadership positions in major Danish maritime companies.
They replace Lars Hjort Simonsen from M.H. Simonsen and Christian M. Ingerslev from Maersk Supply Service, the association reports.
- Congratulations to Tina Revsbech and Mads Peter Zacho on their election to the board of Danish Shipping. I am very much looking forward to the collaboration. These are two highly skilled individuals that we are now bringing on board. At the same time, I would like to extend a big thank you to the two outgoing members, Lars Hjort Simonsen and Christian M. Ingerslev, who have both made a significant contribution to the board over many years. It has been greatly appreciated, says Torben Carlsen, CEO of DFDS and chairman of Danish Shipping, in a press release.
Tina Revsbech, who last year took over as CEO of Maersk Tankers after Christian M. Ingerslev, began her maritime career in 1991 with an internship at A.P. Møller-Mærsk. Since then, she has spent a total of 15 years at Maersk, on and off, and has held positions at Torm, Shell, BW Tankers, and the Canadian dry bulk owner Fednav International.
Mads Peter Zacho, who was appointed CEO of Navigator Gas in August 2022, previously served as Head of Industry Transition at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping and has held several leadership roles in shipping companies, including CEO of J. Lauritzen A/S and CFO of TORM and Svitzer.
