Automation Projects Assistant

About the job
You will be part of our Automation Projects team. The team is responsible for all automation upgrades, ranging from minor modifications to complete replacements of control systems as well as burner replacements. Your tasks will include:
- Preparation of documentation and communication with Class
- Preparation of wiring diagrams
- Coordinating with different departments to ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress against established timelines
- Handling inquiries and following up on project deliverables
- Managing procurement of equipment and tools
- Gathering data for project assessments and feasibility studies
- Participating in troubleshooting
About you
We expect you to have an education as an Automation Technician, Industrial Electrician, Marine Engineer or similar and bring experience with PLC programming. Furthermore, we hope you have:
- experience with electrical fault finding in relay-based controls systems, PID controllers and AC-drives
- flair for understanding mechanics and electrical systems
- extensive experience with the Microsoft Office programs and general PC use
- good communication skills in English, both oral and written
If you have worked with boilers/steam plants and onboard vessels before it is an advantage, however it’s not a requirement.
Furthermore, we expect you to have a clean criminal record and a valid passport.
