On behalf of EMRI, MARPRO Group is looking for a Marine Project Engineer for the office in Copenhagen. You will report to the Head of Ship Projects & Service Delivery.
EMRI are revamping their entire product portfolio and developing the maritime steering control systems of the future. At the same time, they are growing the retrofit business.
The job
As Marine Project Engineer you will be end-to-end responsible for all technical aspects including pre-installation inspections, system design, cable- and installation drawings, software updates, commissioning, and documentation.
You will carry out Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Harbor Acceptance Test (HAT), Sea trial Acceptance Test (SAT) and will cooperate with all stakeholders while supporting EMRI’s sales organization. You will ensure that the installations adhere to regulatory and class requirements.
Expect around 30 travel days per year.
Professional competencies:
- A relevant technical education and experience.
- Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Marine Engineer.
- Ideally shore-based experience from a maritime electronics supplier or service engineer experience.
- Flair for electronics and good understanding of PLC systems.
- Fluent in English.
- EU working permit.
