Service Engineer

On behalf of Loewe Marine, MARPRO is looking for a Service Engineer who will join the team of 10 colleagues with varying responsibilities remotely. The company’s headquarters are located in Bremen, Germany. You will report to the CEO of the company.
Main Responsibilities
- Conducting installation and service of steering gears and rudder systems onboard the vessels of Loewe Marine clients,
- Providing remote technical support whenever required,
- Issuing technical reports about work executed, and
- Communicating with the customers onsite and otherwise on the work which has to be executed.
Professional Competencies
- Degree as marine engineer, mechanical engineer, or related areas,
- At least 5 years of technical maritime experience,
- Service engineer experience is a plus,
- Electrical / hydraulic competencies is a plus,
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, incl. Excel, and
- Solid command of English (oral and written skills)

- You are service-minded, have good interpersonal skills and can understand and offer what the customer expects and needs,
- You have solid organizational skills and work in a structured and efficient way,
- You are willing to travel up to 180 days a year, and
- You are good at finding your way across the globe, understanding how to work in different cultures.
