The CTV shipping company MHO-Co based in Esbjerg is gearing up for a significant fleet expansion with up to 10 new, hybrid CTVs prepared for biofuel, methanol, or a third low-emission fuel.

MHO-Co showcased one of its 2024 newbuilds, 'MHO Boreas', to the world at the Boat Show 2024 in Southampton, on June 10-12. Both in terms of their large size at 36 meters and a unique hybrid propulsion system, the Esbjerg shipping company has set the standard for the future CTVs: Currently, competing shipping companies have at least eight newbuilding orders for CTVs over 32 meters underway with dual-fuel battery propulsion in various versions.
